The Week After

Well it is the week after I resigned from PMA (Feb. 21) and life goes on okay. Had lunch today with Jeff who has had problems with the airbag warning light in his expensive VW SUV ... similar to the problem I am now experiencing in my cheap Subaru wagon. Tried to have Concordville service the problem Saturday when I had the oil changed, but the darn trouble light would not come on while I was at the shop. It did later in the afternoon and and has been on and off ever since. The service manager wants me to bring the car up when the light is on so they can try to trace the problem. Apparently one light is all there is for the multiple bags, so they do not know from the computer readout which bag is malfunctioning. My retired status puts a stop on any planning for a trip to Florda and/or San Fran any time soon. So back to the grindstone of finding a new job that won't require too much of a commute or as much stress as the PMA position did. Now that I have had more time, I did put up an "APoland Family" groupsite on mac.com and Ann, Katie, Conor and Byron all accepted my invitation to join it. So far we have posted a few photos and
a couple of messages. Will have to see how it developes. Laura stoped over for a visit with Ann this afternoon during a break from her tests....she sure loves playing with the dogs and cat. Very nice young woman. Back to checking job boards and email.
